The Spark 2021: Welcoming a New Era

Hello and welcome back to “The Spark”! 

We hope that you have enjoyed your summer and are settling into your classes.

You’ve probably noticed that we rebranded our social media accounts and website over the summer. Rather than being known as Queen’s Non Profit, we’ve decided to update our name to better reflect who we are - a club dedicated to empowering students to become socially responsible leaders. We are proud to now be known as the Queen’s Social Impact Association, or QSIA for short.

Despite this change, our mission remains the same. We are still a team of young leaders striving to inform, inspire, and impact our peers and communities. 

We are the same QNP at heart, but we are ready for more.

Last year, our team was very busy. We hosted 6 events, raised $5690, hosted 2944 attendees, and partnered with 33 companies. And this year, we are looking to extend our impact. Through the creation of new portfolios and the hiring of passionate students to join our team, we are prepared to deliver a wide selection of events, programs, and resources that will help YOU jumpstart your career in the social impact sector.

It all begins with first year representative hiring this coming week and our Social Internship Program (SIP) information session later this month.
