Social Internship Program

WHAT IS THE SOCIAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM?

The Social Internship Program (SIP) engages students at the Smith School of Business with organizations in the non profit and CSR sectors by providing them with an enriching volunteer opportunity. By assisting a non profit organization with a project they are working on, students participating in SIP have a unique opportunity to leverage their business education to make a tangible difference in their community and enhance their leadership skills. We interview and carefully select students to participate in the program and pair them with volunteer experiences that best align with their career goals, skill-set, and passions.

For companies who want to get involved with this program, please view the partnership package below.

“As a project manager, I had the opportunity to lead a strategic insight project to help Heart and Stroke improve their marketing, fundraising, and outreach efforts. In addition to helping an organization that I deeply care about, I had the opportunity to attend some amazing events and meet amazing people. SIP was a highlight of my first year at Queen’s.”
